Endocrinology and Metabolism Collection
Clinically Non-Functional Pituitary Adenomas is the first in a series on endocrinology, produced on the initiative of a group of doctors with experience in multidisciplinary research, each of whom will be asked to write a volume. The project is supported by Ipsen-Biotech laboratories.

Improved methods of recognizing pituitary hormones have had a significant impact on our understanding of functional and non-functional adenomas (benign tumours) in recent years.

In this book the authors have looked at so-called "non-functioning" (that is, non-secreting) adenomas. All aspects, particularly clinical and therapeutic, are covered:

- Physiopathology
- Epidemiology
- Clinical presentation
- Dynamic exploration
- Hormonal secretion correlation in vivo and in vitro
- Anatomopathology
- Structural and functional characteristics of the gonadotropins produced by gonadotropic adenomas.
- Treatment
