For a new approach to skin lesions
Dynamic phototherapy (DPT) is an innovative technique that combines the use of light and of a photosensitising product.
It has truly revolutionised the management of superficial skin tumours and its use will soon exceed the domain of cutaneous oncology to extend to acne treatment as well as skin infections (Leishmaniasis, warts, onychomycoses, molluscum contagiosum, condyloma), psoriasis or healing; and in the extramedical domain, the fight against skin aging.
A panel of international experts has contributed to this work to successively address: the principle of the technique, available photosensitising agents, the result of clinical studies in the official indications of treatment as well as in off-MA use or outside of the domain of oncology
