Summary

This book is based on a retrospective survey of members of the AFC (French Surgery Association), which compiles the notes of almost 1 500 files of patients undergoing surgery in the last 13 years.
The main objective was to present an overview of surgical and oncological practices and treatments. This is one of the largest gastrointestinal tumour series to date. The conclusions reached after the analysis of the data are extremely valuable from a scientific standpoint.
