This first volume devoted to "Peripheral Neuropathies" in the "Treatise on Neurology" collection describes and comments on the organization and functions of the peripheral nervous system, its physiopathology and the classification of its disorders, with :
- all the data necessary to understand the anatomy, histology and physiology of the peripheral nervous system;
- the expected contributions of functional explorations, imaging, nerve and skin biopsies, genetic analyses;
- the useful keys for an etiological orientation and a management in the reference centers;
- all focal and general neuropathies, according to their different clinical and electrophysiological expressions, their causes and their management;
- scales and function scores that allow the quantification and clinical follow-up of neuropathies.
