English translation of the general report on the Health of the French people Higher Committee for Public Health Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
This biennial report (published in French by La Documentation Francais) gives a sort of snapshot of the state of health of the French.
On the basis of a few major indices, the work places France in its international context and traces changes over the past decade.
Some 300 experts were called upon, not to provide an exhaustive picture but to select strategic or significant areas in which international comparisons can be drawn.
