Rheumatological pain in daily practice

Rheumatologic pain is one of the top five reasons for patients seeing their GP.
It was therefore essential that the "Pain in Daily Practice" collection sum up our current understanding of joint pain and progress made in its treatment.
The authors aimed to produce a practical book that systematically suggests the steps to take and provides decision making trees which will be very useful for practitioners.
Each chapter covers a common clinical situation and summarises its physiopathology, diagnosis and therapeutic management using both medicinal and other means.
The authors, who are rheumatologists and pain specialists, have taken care to make their knowledge accessible and use their clinical experience to create an informative work for use in daily practice.
